Margaret L. Leech, 89, of Leeper, PA passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, October 21, 2024.

She was born on October 9, 1935, at home in East Hickory, to the late Edward and Eleanor (Howe) Reese.

Margaret was married to Robert Kirkpatrick Sr. who fathered her children, he preceded her in death at a very young age. She then married John Leech, who also preceded her in death in 2001.

She was a cook at the Sawmill in Leeper, PA for many years. Margaret was also a member of Scotch Hill Church and United Methodist Women's Club. Her hobbies were her church and family.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Janice Rogers of Titusville, PA; grandchildren: Bob Bauer, Mike Bauer, Sara Kirkpatrick, Derrick Kirkpatrick and Samantha Schneider; great grandchildren: Chad, Mason, Meleana, Logan, Lainee, MacKenzie, Nolan, Maria, Aurora, Marshall, Freya and Gabe; the only surviving sibling, Eleanor Gatesman of Brookville, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her son, Bob Kirkpatrick Jr., her daughter, Deb Bauer, a grandson Adam Christopher Bauer and 7 siblings.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Borland-Ensminger Funeral Home, Inc. in Leeper, PA. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 2:00pm at Scotch Hill Church in Leeper, PA with the Rev. Melissa Kraus as officiant. Interment will take place afterwards in Scotch Hill Cemetery.
