Obituary of Jason Emerson Deal

Jason E. Deal, 37, of Tionesta, formerly of Clarion, passed away unexpectedly at home Tuesday, November 26, 2019.

 

Jason was born on December 6, 1981 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Lonnie E. Deal of Indiana and Donna K. Carpenter of Tionesta.

 

He had attended North Clarion School during his school years.  Jason loved to spend his time fishing.  He also enjoyed hunting, doing arts and crafts, and loved to listen to all types of music. 

 

In addition to his parents and fathers companion, Lee Ann Grey, he is survived by two brothers, Garrett Deal and wife, Rachel, of Colorado and Greg Deal and wife, Felicia, of Marienville; grandmother, Barbara Carpenter of Goose Creek, SC; three nieces, Leah Deal, Tori Deal, and Gracie Smith; one nephew, Zander Deal.

 

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lester I. Deal and James Carpenter Sr. and his grandmother, Florence Crownover Deal.

 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Good Shepherd Church 9870 Route 36, Tionesta, PA 16353.  Arrangements were entrusted to the Borland-Ensminger Funeral Home, Inc. in Leeper.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Borland-Ensminger Funeral Home, Inc. P.O. Box 319 Leeper, PA 16233 to help defray the cost of funeral services.
