She is survived by her daughter Celia Winder and fiancé William"Bill" Gehan, Jr.; her daughter Elise Winder, fiancé Glenn Barry and son Christopher; her sister Mary Lou Weaver; her brother Maurice "Greg" Schill; and her brother-in-law Kenneth "Ken" Miller.

Anna received her bachelor's degree in nursing from St. Vincent School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse in Cleveland, OH, and Honolulu, HI, where she met and married her husband Bill.

She loved her family and community and was actively involved in organizations focusing on healthcare, government, the arts, and historical and environmental preservation. She was devoted to the well-being of her patients. She served on the boards and was affiliated with numerous organizations, including National League of Nursing, National Association of Neighborhood Health Centers, American Public Health Association, American Heart Association, Public Health Advisory Board, Jefferson-Clarion County Community Action Agency, Clarion County-East Forest Health Council, Northwestern Pennsylvania Comprehensive Health Planning Council, League of Women Voters, Clarion Historical Society, Clarion County Arts Council, and Bi-County Artists.

She founded the GFWC (General Federation of Women's Clubs) Marianne Civic Circle. She, with the support of many members and volunteers, created the Clarion County Festival of Trees in 1985. She was so happy to learn that the Festival of Trees continues to this day, now benefiting the Sawmill Center for the Arts.

A private service with Rev. Joseph Czarkowski, pastor, as celebrant followed by internment was held at St. Joseph Church in Lucinda, PA. The family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
