To the Root family. We had the pleasure of knowing Ruel for many years. He was a special man with a big heart! I will so miss seeing him at church where he sat in the last pew, and always got a Sunday morning hug from me, and if I was not in 8:30 mass he made sure to ask me where I was.
I will really miss him in my salon where we solved all the worlds problems in 30 minutes or less, which was a challenge! I So enjoyed our visits.
His sense of humor was so quick, sometimes you weren't sure if he was serious or joking, 99 % of the time he was joking.
He was so proud of his family, and loved you all so much. It gives me peace that he is with your Mom now, the love of his life.
We will truly miss him, and his devotion to our church, and his hard work on making a difference with his inspirational quotes, that made you say good one Ruel! You All have our Deepest Sympathy.

Denise, Bud, Maria, and Don, sorry to read about your father's passing. My thoughts and prayers to all of you and your families. I remember all the fun times we had with your family at Ridge Camp. Mom and Dad were good camp hosts and always had the coffee on! I'm sure Dad, Mom, and Jay are telling a lot of Cook Forest stories. I'm going to try and make the viewing, but not sure.
