Obituary of Gloria A. Sliker

Gloria A. (Cookie) Sliker passed away at the age of 80 in her sleep on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at the home of her daughter. Gloria was born September 3, 1933 in Lickingville. She retired as a custodian from North Clarion School District, after 35 years of service. She was a member of the Allegheny Valley Sportsmans Club in Newmansville. Gloria liked fishing, shooting bow and doing crafts. She considered her cats, Fluffy and Babygirl and dogs, Snowy, Sierra and Lacey as her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Sue Mealy and her husband, John T. of Leeper. Gloria was preceded in death by her first husband, Samuel Huffman and her 2nd husband, Gerald A. Sliker. She was also preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Lee and Amanda Dehner. There will be no public visitation or services. Interment will be in Washington Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to Clarion-Forest VNA.
