Obituary of Grace A. Ochs

Grace A. Ochs, 87, of Rt. 66 Lucinda, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the Clarion Hospital. Born January 15, 1926 in Lucinda, she was the daughter of the late Jerome J. Judy Sr. and Irene P. Schmader Judy. She was married to Francis "Wick" Ochs on June 18, 1947 at St Joseph Church in Lucinda and he preceded her in death on February 7, 1998. Mrs. Ochs had several vocations including: Sylvania in Brookville, Rhea's Restaurant for 19 years and Schmader Lumber for 32 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed sewing and woodcrafts. Mrs. Ochs is survived by 5 Children: Judy A. Siegel of Lucinda, Roxanne Murphy and her husband Rick of Lucinda, Larry Ochs and his wife Leslie of Lucinda, Gary Ochs of Lucinda and Lisa A. Eisenman and her husband Mark of Lucinda. She is survived by 2 brothers: Richard Judy and his wife Virginia of Lucinda, and Jerome J. Judy Jr. and his wife Donna of Lucinda; and 1 sister Ruth Lander of Lucinda. She is survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband Mrs. Ochs was preceded in death by: a daughter, Linda A. Ochs; a grandson, Baby Boy Murphy; a great grandson Aiden Carroll; a brother Ralph Judy; and a son-in-law, John Siegel. Friends and family may call on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Borland Funeral Home Inc. in Leeper. Visitation will also be held on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00A.M. at St. Joseph Church in Lucinda with Rev. Joseph Czarkowski, Pastor, as celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
