Obituary of Lucille A. Griebel

Lucille A. (Susie) Griebel, 71, of Lucinda, died early Saturday morning, November 10, 2012 at her home after an extended illness. Born February 17, 1941in Lucinda, PA she was the daughter of the late Albinus W. and Winifred D. Schmader Ochs.
Susie was married to Lawrence J. (Junior) Griebel on April 8, 1961 at St. Joseph Church in Lucinda, and he survives.
Mrs. Griebel was a member of St. Joseph Church and the Rosary Altar Society of the church. She worked as a bookkeeper for 25 years at Ochs Lumber and at the Clarion County Sheriff's office until she retired.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by three sons: Rodney J. Griebel and his wife Rhea of Hanover PA, Todd M. Griebel of Mesa, AZ, and Lawrence J. Griebel, Jr. and his wife Theresa of Kent Island, MD. Mrs. Griebel is also survived by three grandchildren: Samantha, Hannah, and Ava Griebel; also two step grandsons: Michael Money and his wife, Jaclyn of Crofton, MD and Jeffery Money and his wife Victoria of Mississippi as well as four step great- grandchildren, Michelle , Ryan, Jeffrey Jr. and Samantha Money.
Mrs. Griebel is also survived by one sister, Elsie Schwabenbauer and her husband, Paul of Leeper and 3 brothers: David Ochs and his wife, Chris of Tennessee, Albinus W. Ochs and his wife, Janet of Thurmont, MD and Michael Ochs and his wife, Kathy of New York.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Griebel was preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Ochs and a sister, Joan McCloskey.
Friends and family may call on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 9-10 AM at St. Joseph Church in Lucinda PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church in Lucinda, with Rev. Joseph Czarkowski, pastor of the church as celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family suggests that memorials be made to St. Joseph Church in Lucinda or Clarion - Forest VNA Hospice.
