Maxine was such a kind and wonderful lady. I will never forget the time she stayed with my siblings and I while my parents were gone on vacation. She made us all so comfortable while our parents were away and of course spoiled us with her wonderful cooking. She was always a cheerful lady, and I always enjoyed talking to her. She will be greatly missed. Thoughts and prayers to the her family and loved ones.

Maxine was such a sweet and loving woman! As my sponsor for confirmation classes to become a member of the church, she was so encouraging to me. I still have the necklace that she gave me as a gift on my confirmation day at the old Washington UMC. She will forever hold a place in my heart!
