Obituary of Virginia Marie Wolbert

Virginia Marie "Ginny" Wolbert, 83, of Lucinda, died late Saturday evening, October 20, 2012 at Clarion Hospital. Born March 1, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Jacob E. and Elizabeth T. Ochs Lander. She was the youngest of 12 children and is survived by one sister, Bernadette Etzel of Seneca. She married James A. Wolbert on August 21, 1948 at St. Joseph Church in Lucinda and he preceded her in death on October 1, 1995. Ginny retired from Clarion University where she was a secretary for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Lucinda. She is survived by seven children: Gary Wolbert and his wife, Rosemary of Sigel; Pam Judy of Lucinda; Liz Geer and her husband, Bob of Brookville; Jamie Horwath and her husband, Jim of Fenton, Michigan; Lynn Judy and her husband, Pete of Lucinda; Lori Callihan and her husband, Bill of Lucinda and Shelly Ochs and her husband, Matt of Dumfries, Virginia. Ginny's greatest joys were her 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, October 23, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 at the Borland Funeral Home, Inc. in Leeper. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Lucinda with Rev. Joseph Czarkowski, pastor of the church, as celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
