Obituary of Bertha G Lander

Monday evening, August 13 Bertha G. (Ochs) Lander, 88 of Tionesta died, 2012 at Titusville Hospital. She was born May 18, 1924 the daughter of the late William and Alice Neuland Ochs. Mrs. Lander was married to Henry F (Sam) Lander on September 15, 1951 at the St Joseph Church in Lucinda, PA. He preceded her in death on July 23, 1978 and in addition she was preceded in death by a grandson Adam Hoover in 1994, six brothers and two sisters. She was a member of St Anthony Church in Tionesta, Pa. Bertha is survived by three sons: Frederick Lander and his wife Gloria, Charles Lander and his wife Dottie and Andrew Lander. She is also survived by three daughters; Elizabeth Lander, Jane Hoover and her husband Bernard and Theresa Lander; as well as nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Bertha is survived by a sister: Alice M Ochs and numerous nieces and nephews. As per the wishes of the family there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at the convenience of the family at St Anthony Church in Tionesta, PA. with Reverend Joseph Czarkowski pastor as celebrant.
