Obituary of Marian R. Marshall

Marian R. (Paschke) Marshall, 84, of Leeper, died Monday evening, August 6, 2012 at Jefferson Manor in Brookville. PA. Born February 19, 1928 in Youngstown OH, she was the daughter of the late William and Emma Maag Paschke. Mrs. Marshall was married to James D. Marshall on September 14, 1951 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Boardman OH. He preceded her in death in July 2006. Marian was a retired librarian from the Youngstown Public Library. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Youngstown OH, where she also played the organ. Marian loved classical music, reading and nature. Marian is survived by her daughter, Susan Marshall Williams and her husband Dana of Leeper and one sister and brother-in-law Carol and Dr. Bill Good of Hadley, PA. Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister Martha Roepke of Boardman OH. As per the wishes of Mrs. Marshall there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Interment will be at Cooksburg Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Canine Companions for Independence at cci.org.
