Obituary of M. Catherine (McLaughlin) Mozeyko

Mary Catherine (McLaughlin) Mozeyko, 56, of Evans City and originally of Crown, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at her home after a lengthy illness. Born September 4, 1955, in Brookville, she was the daughter of the late Patrick G. McLaughin, Jr. and step-daughter of the late Ursula Hyle McLaughlin. She was married to Fred Mozeyko, Jr. and he preceded her in death on May 30, 2008. Catherine was a graduate of North Clarion High School. She worked for 25 years as a private duty nurse. She provided a foster home for dogs from a "No Kill" shelter. She also enjoyed working on family genealogy. Catherine is survived by 2 daughters, Gloria Jean Pantelis of Clintonville and Ursula Leigh (Pantelis) Curtis of New Stanton. She is also survived by a brother, Patrick McLaughlin III and his wife, Mary Ann of Mentor, Ohio, and 3 sisters, Jeanne Pamula and her husband, David of Erie, Pam Wachowiak and her husband, Chuck of Meadville and Joyce Schaffer and her husband, Eric of Robinson Township, Pittsburgh. Private family services will be held at the Borland Funeral Home, Inc. in Leeper. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Church cemetery in Crown. The family suggests memorial donations be made to M.S. Society at mslifelines.com, American Heart Association and the Epilepsy Foundation at epilepsyfoundation.org.
