Obituary of Ruth E. Brown

Ruth Kline Brown, 79, of Tionesta, died early Friday evening, January 28, 2011 at Golden Living in Titusville. Born August 31, 1931 in Confluence, PA, she was the only child of John W. and Alma (Moon) Havner Rush. A charter member of the Tionesta Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, Mrs. Brown was active also in the Tionesta Community Association and other community affairs. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in German Hill. Mrs. Brown was an avid reader. Mrs. Brown is survived by a son, Ralph A. (Tony) Kline and his wife, Helen, and a daughter, Brenda L. (Kline) Vincent and her husband, Jerry, all of Tionesta. She is also survived by a son-in-law, J. Michael Puleo of Hermitage; 3 step-children, Clarence W. Brown, Jr. of Latrobe, Ronna (Brown) Pilston and her husband, Thomas of Tarentum and Brenda L. (Brown) Ehnot and her husband, Gary of Rural Valley; 5 grandchildren, Deborah (Vincent) Donato, Michael Vincent, Todd Puleo, Philip Puleo and Katlyn Kline; 4 step-grandchildren, Tommy Pilston, Dana (Pilston) Jump, Bridgette Brown and Gary Ehnot; 4 great grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph M. Kline and Clarence (Bud) Brown and a daughter Judith (Kline) Puleo. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in German Hill with Rev. Samuel Mabugu, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery on a warm, sunny, summer day. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Sarah Stewart Bovard Library or the Tionesta Ambulance Service.
