Dorothy Trkula, 94, of Cooksburg, PA passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

She was born on January 1, 1932, in North Pinegrove, PA to the late Charles R. Coogan and Doris (Boyd) Coogan.

Dorothy had attended college in New York City for 2 years earning an associates degree. She worked as a cafeteria supervisor at North Clarion School District and had also worked for visiting nurses. She was a member of the Food Service in Ohio. Dorothy was a parishioner at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Crown, PA. where she was part of the ladies auxiliary.

Dorothy is survived by her seven children; seven grandchildren; one brother; one sister and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, and two children.

A graveside service will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Crown on July 9, 2026, at 11:30am with Rev. Brandon Kleckner pastor, as celebrant.
