Carol Sue Walters went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family Sunday,May 31, 2026.

Carol was born on October 7, 1939, in Kane Pa. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Susie (Agens) Deems.

On December 31, 1959, she married the love of her life, Daniel M. Walters. They were married for 67 terrific years filled with family, friends, lots of love and good times.

Carol worked many jobs before fulfilling her career wish of becoming a hairdresser,having her salon in her home in Vowinckel, Pa.

Surviving, in addition to her loving husband are Children: Rhonda (Larry) Kifer of St. Augustine Fl, Susie (Rick) Irwin of Vowinckel, Sally Walters (Wesley Smith) of St. Augustine, Fl, Ray (Leslie) Walters of Tylersburg, and Floyd (Bubba) Walters of Johnsonburg. Grandchildren include Jesse Kifer, Jennifer Kifer, Daniel (Nikki) Irwin, Kayla (Nash) Lewis, Devon Walters (Taylor Aites), Dylan Walters, Maison Walters, and Great Grandchildren Dexter Irwin and Veda Irwin.

She is further survived by her sister Jean (Guy) Anderson, sister-in-law Kim Walters, and brother-in-law Floyd Walters.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her Brother Bill Deems.

Carol enjoyed her family and friends, taking cruises with her husband, snow birding in Florida, happy hours with friends, playing cards, and dancing. She had a love of cardinals. She was an excellent hostess and enjoyed hosting parties for family and friends.

She had a contagious smile that everyone recognized, when she walked into a room, brightening every corner, she was in.

Carol was a member of Good Shepherd Church. She was a very active member of the

NCP Slovenian Polka Club.

The family wants to thank the Clarion Forest VNA Hospice for all the wonderful people who made Carol's transition to Heaven a beautiful journey.

A memorial service will be held at the Good Shepherd Global Methodist Church, 9870 Rt 36 Tionesta, Pa 16353, on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 11:00am with the Pastor Mark Micklos Officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held directly after the service at Kalyumet Campground Social Hall, wear your dancing shoes, music provided by the Larry Lewicki Polka Band.
