Obituary of Molly A. Gatesman

Molly A. Gatesman, 57, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 1, 2025, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on February 23, 1968, in Oil City, PA to the late Randall L. LaCaze and Janet C. (Hargenrader) LaCaze, who survives. Molly was a graduate of North Clarion High School, after high school she attended Clarion University where she received an Associate and Bachelor of Science degrees. On June 10, 1989, she married the love of her life, Junior (Aloysius J. Gatesman Jr.) at St. Michael Catholic Church in Fryburg, PA. Molly had been employed by Penn West University, as a management tech. She was a member of Good Shepherd Global Methodist Church in Tionesta, where she was a secretary, helped coordinate vacation bible school and mission trips. Molly enjoyed painting, woodworking, crafting but most of all, spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children: Leah R. Mannerino and her husband Chris of Tylersburg, PA, Sarah A. Bleggi and her husband Jake of Lucinda, PA and Noah R. Gatesman of Lucinda, PA; grandchildren: Adda, Ella, Cody and Jacob Bleggi and Noel, Presley, and Sofia Mannerino; siblings: Holly A Earp and her husband Brent of Fertigs, PA and Chad A. LaCaze and his wife Sharlene of Tionesta, PA; in-laws: Jacob Gatesman and his wife Kathy of Tionesta, PA, Donna Gatesman of Fryburg, and Susie Carbaugh and her companion Bob of Leeper, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Remi and her in-laws, Aloysius J. Gatesman Sr. and Eleanor D. Gatesman. As per Molly's wishes, funeral services will be private with the Rev. Rick Helsel, as officiant. Interment will take place in Venus Cemetery, Venus, PA. Molly's request is to have memorial contributions be made in her honor to the Clarion Cancer Center, 150 Doctors Lane, Suite 1, Clarion, PA 16214.
