To the Molly Gatesman Family: I send my sincerest condolences to All of you. I know many of you being a local resident. I always was so happy working with Molly at the St. Joseph's Hall when she was a maker of coleslaw for many events. I knew many of the Aloysius Gatesman, Sr. children as they grew into adulthood. Then got to meet Junior & Molly's daughter, Leah. She came for a tour of the hospital, then spent time on the departments observing, as she was interested in the medical field. Result, she got into Nursing, graduated, RN, married, a mother and is a working nurse. Molly was so proud! Knew the in-laws= Jacob & Kathy (Kriebel)Gatesman, Sue Gatesman Carbaugh has been a Business Office employee at Clarion for a long time. I took care of "Wish" Gatesman as a Patient over the years, and knew his wife Eleanor also. I sang in the St. Joseph's Church choir at their Funerals. I remember meeting Molly in College at Venango Campus. She and I had lots of classes together. I used to be dropped off at her parent's house and we would get in her Subaru and go to main campus for a class or two and then back to Venango Campus for work study and more classes. I remember one day on our way back from Clarion we stopped to look at decorations for her and Jr's wedding. I especially liked taking a day and driving to Clarion to surprise her and take her to lunch. We kept saying we would get together for dinner after she retired but we never made it. I remember how happy and proud she was of all her children and when we did get the chance to talk on the phone I heard about each and every one and the grandkids as well. I have been praying for Molly, and she prayed for me as well. My heart broke when I read of her passing.

I am so very sorry to hear about Molly. I have shared so many laughs and fun times together doing plays and musicals at North Clarion. Molly was the recipient of my famous “yellow bloomers”. Wear them proudly in heaven dear friend. You’re deeply missed. Hugs and prayers to all the family.

Molly was the human embodiment of love and sunshine! It was such a joy to get to know and work with her. I didn’t make many friends in college, but Molly and the girls in the registrar’s office became some of my best friends. I will always hold dear her unique way of describing people and her joy when more unique names would come across her desk. Until we meet again my friend!
