Obituary of Stephen Reed Crosby

Stephen Reed Crosby, age 41, of Lucinda, PA, went to Heaven on May 10th 2025. Into the arms of His Lord and Savior, his suffering on this earth has ended. Stephen was a loving father, son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend. He had a heart of gold and will be missed by his daughters, family, and friends. Stephen was born in 1984 and throughout his life he persevered, despite his disability, and worked every day to become a skilled and creative mechanic. He graduated from North Clarion High School in 2003 and went on to study at WyoTech in Blairsville, PA for High Performance Engine and Chassis Fabrication. Stephen worked at Seidel's Chevrolet in Clarion and American Classics in Knox. He opened his own shop in Lucinda, PA and operated that for over a decade. Stephen was determined to be a productive and helpful person, in every aspect of his life. Stephen has two daughters, Grace and Natalie. His daughters were the joy of his life; he was a loving father to them. Stephen is survived by his father, Charles W. Crosby, and Mother, Erin Crownover, his brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Jessica Crosby and their children Qwentin and Lillian, sister and brother-in-law, Katie and Ben Taggart and their children Savannah and Dylan. Stephen has many loving family members, near and far, including Uncle Fred and Aunt Jackie Whitney, cousins Schuyler and Kegan Whitney, Misty Nichols, Brittany Hendricks, and Todd Hendricks, Uncle Ted and Brenda Whitney, cousin Jeff Whitney, Uncle Edwin Crosby, Aunt Carol DiGuilio, cousins Toni and David Scarbrough, Jim and Kim DiGuilio, Albert and Sheri, Aunt Alyce and Uncle Ron Machak, cousin Logan Machak, Aunt Beverly and Uncle Bob Wonders, cousins Rhonda and Pete Lauer, and Aunt Dayl and Uncle Keith Greismer, cousins Brent and Matthew Greismer. Waiting in Heaven are Stephen's Grandparents Ralph and Naomi Whitney, and Charles and Eleanor Crosby, Uncle Albert DiGuilio, Uncle John O'Neal, cousins Timothy O'Neal, Nathaniel Whitney, and Nikki Whitney Everyone who knew Stephen is invited to a celebration of his life and legacy on Saturday, May 24th at 4pm at the Tionesta Church of God, 1582 Route 36, Tionesta, PA 16353 at the pavilion, followed by a big picnic. In lieu of flowers, Stephen's family would like every person reading this to take a moment today to share kindness and love with their community and family, especially those who may be struggling.
