Dave our hearts are with the entire Byerly family during this time of profound loss. Your Dad was truly one of the best, his life a testament to quiet strength, boundless generosity, and a deep, unwavering love for his family and community.
I know he was a proud Navy veteran who served with honor during the Korean War, 'Chuck' embodied a quiet heroism that definitely carried into civilian life. His deep commitment to others, especially to his expansive family and close-knit community, was felt in countless ways, often quietly, always meaningfully.
Your Dad gave with a welcoming heart, shaping the lives of his children and grandchildren. Whether it was through a thoughtful gesture, wise advice, or simply his steady presence, Chuck made you feel like one of the family and you mattered and you were loved.
His legacy is one of steadfast love, acceptance, and generosity that knew no bounds. Though he has left this world, the light he shared continues to shine in the expansive family he adored, the causes he championed, and the many lives he touched.
